Although Asians like to eat and cook together in a relaxing atmosphere, sometimes things have to happen quickly. Various specialties can be purchased at the popular markets - typical Asian food as a take-away!
These small street kitchens or cookshops with or without seats are widespread in Asia. The freshly prepared food is cooked there continuously and kept warm for immediate sale. It is similar to our fast food restaurants.
Nevertheless, it is extremely healthy, as only fresh food is used, especially vegetables and rice, but also lean meat and fish. The resulting dishes vary from region to region and also depend on the geographical location.
Near the sea, for example, you can enjoy delicious seafood and the famous Japanese sushi. Apart from the freshness of the food, it is steamed in the wok without adding any extra fat and rounded off with wholesome spices.
Exotic spices round off our dishes
Asian cuisine is not only known for its use of fresh vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, soy, ginger and lemongrass, but above all for its exotic spices.
Each cuisine uses different spices or the same spices in different combinations. These are of course also used authentically in our Asian dishes (take-away or in the restaurant). For example, we like to work with ginger, star anise, Thai basil, cardamom, turmeric, galangal and green pepper.

Asian cuisine has many specialties and delicacies to offer. However, not all dishes are well-known and popular in the West. That's why we focus on an exquisite selection of three different varieties of Asian specialties: Chinese, Japanese and Thai.
Japanese
Japanese cuisine is mainly based on fish and rice. No wonder, as Japan is located directly by the sea and can boast extremely fresh fish and seafood. Fresh sushi and miso soup are particularly well-known in Japan. Of course, we also offer both dishes at our restaurant.
Chinese
Chinese cuisine offers different regional delicacies. For example, Cantonese cuisine works a lot with sauces, Min cuisine often combines sweet and sour and likes to cook with red rice wine. Shandong cuisine loves quick-fried dishes and uses seafood, vegetables and potatoes. Sichuan cuisine is sour and spicy, and kung pao chicken is particularly well-known. Su cuisine uses bamboo and chestnuts and likes to steam its dishes.
Thai
Thai cuisine focuses on rice, especially the fragrant jasmine rice, as well as aquatic plants and seafood. But rice noodles, glass noodles and wheat noodles are also very popular.
Thailand also has many regional cuisines that are characterized by different dishes. In the north, the influence of the cuisines of Laos and Myanmar comes to the fore, in the east that of Cambodia. Incidentally, this is where the popular papaya salad comes from. The south loves it spicy and is influenced by Malaysia.
Only in central Thailand is the classic national cuisine with its typical dishes made from coconut milk. The hot and sour shrimp soup Tom Yam, which we also offer, comes from here.
