What delights await you here?
Our enthusiastic customers from Wädenswil and Thalwil love our dishes because they are fresh and healthy. This is mainly due to the fact that Asian cuisine uses lots of fresh vegetables and little fat.
Chinese cuisine is mostly mild and only spicy in Sichuan and Yunnan. The different varieties of chop suey, which we also offer, are well-known and popular.
Japanese cuisine is mainly known for its fish and seafood dishes. We offer many delicious sushi variations.
Thai cuisine is quite spicy, but also differs greatly from region to region, just like Chinese cuisine. It is one of the most popular cuisines in the world and is famous for its Pad Thai or Thai Green Curry.
Which vegetables do we use for our healthy dishes?
Many Asian vegetables also grow here:

- Ginger

Which spices typically round off Asian food?
Ginger tastes spicy and a little like lemon. It is used fresh, dried or ground in dishes with seafood, lamb or chicken. It can also be used for sauces and marinades. It is even used to flavor desserts. And as a tea, it helps with colds and stomach problems.
Galangal belongs to the ginger family, but tastes milder and slightly sour. Galangal is used in our Thai dishes. It is mainly used for stews and rice dishes as well as coconut milk sauces.
Green pepper comes from India. Depending on the time of harvest, black, red, white and green pepper is obtained from the same berries. Green pepper comes from the unripe berries and is used in Thailand, particularly in spice pastes.
Star anise is often used in Chinese cuisine. It tastes slightly of licorice and is rather spicy. Chinese cuisine uses this spice to marinate meat. In Vietnam, it is an ingredient in noodle soup and in India it is used in the famous curries.
Kaffir lime leaves originate from South East Asia and have a lemony aroma. They are used in a variety of ways, for example in soups such as tom yam (Thai cuisine) or in curries, rice dishes, salads, meat and vegetable dishes.
Thai basil includes three different types, all of which are used to flavor soups and sauces. They also go well with fish and meat dishes, pasta or rice salads and in dishes made with coconut milk.
Cardamom tastes slightly of cinnamon and is sweet and spicy. It is mainly found in Indian cuisine, where it is used in rice and curry dishes. In China, it is a component of Chinese medicine, as it has an antispasmodic effect and therefore makes food that is difficult to digest more digestible.
Turmeric has a slightly bitter taste. It is used in Asia as a colorant and in cooking. It goes well with meat and fish dishes, but also in salad dressings. It is also known as a remedy, as it has an anti-inflammatory and digestive effect.
Schisandra berries originate from China and are sweet, sour, salty, bitter and spicy all at the same time. This is why they are also known as the "5-taste fruit". They are often used in medicine as a tea, as they contain valuable vitamins and boost vitality.
